and maybe it has to do with drug, alcohol, multiple sex partners, smoking, various STDs, extremely poor diet, and lastly poor decision making. so yes it’s whiteys fault

women die from childbirth. It’s a fact. About 700 a year. Women who have pre-existing conditions, especially hypertension, are more likely to die. Women who die during childbirth are most likely to die from excessive blood loss or leakage of ammiotic fluid into the mother’s bloodstream. Women who die post-childbirth are most likely to die from hypertension or lifestyle choice.
Seventy percent of black babies are born to unwed mothers, many of whom have no support system other than government provided. Social programs have been in place for decades to reach out to welfare mothers to provide readily accessible and free pre-natal and post-natal care, including nutrition, health and psychological counseling. Free nutrition is provided by food-stamps. Social outreach programs are staffed predominately by minorities.
Hospitals are staffed with a mixture of minorities, serving as doctors, technicians and nurses, with asian and blacks comprising about 25% of physician staff. Compared to their distributions in the U.S. workforce, Whites are underrepresented in all Healthcare Support and Personal Care Services Occupations except Massage Therapists (72.9 percent), and Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides (76.0 percent).
The occupations in which Whites are mostunderrepresented
are Nursing, Psychiatric and Home Health Aides (46.8 percent); Personal Care Aides (48.7 percent).
In general, whites comprise less than 50% of nursing occupations, with blacks comprising over 30%.
So, if ‘systemic racism’ is going to be levied, perhaps those making the accusations should look at the races of the actual caregivers instead of reaching for the nearest race card.

Yes, more teen pregnancies for one thing. Use of drugs and tobacco. Not eating right. Gestational diabetes. There are many possibilities. Now, it is also true that when the government is footing the bill, some doctors and hospitals make more money from C-sections with no questions asked.
