“Be certain to get your vaccination! Let the gang here know how it turned out.”

That’s the plan. I expect something to open up for me in April - most likely a Pfizer.

Unfortunately we seem to have divided ourselves into increasingly antagonistic camps. If we can avoid unnecessarily antagonizing each other then we should do so.

I don’t think that’s the problem.

Back in 2008 I had a relative who came to visit me. She made some nasty comment about Sarah Palin. I asked her if she had supported Obama, and of course she had. So, I started listing all the reasons she supported him. Without snark or sarcasm, I listed his credentials. I then looked at her and said “Now, you tell me why I support Sarah Palin?” She started crying and left the room.

I’m pretty sure the people who post the “anti vaxx” comments have no clue why these people believe some vaccines are not safe. I asked twice if poster 2A watched the video I linked to in post 34. No response. If you do just even a small amount of research, it is really easy to start doubting the integrity of these health organizations.

The reason that people who get the vaccine are getting pushback, is because for everyone of you who get it, it makes it harder and harder on the rest of us. If nobody got the shot, we wouldn’t be hearing about covid passports. Just like the masks. If everybody just stopped wearing them, it would all be over.

"Quick question, do you think all those people who have kids that got the mmr shot and then ended up autistic, are just mistaken?"

This "MMR causes autism" nonsense was demonstrated to be a myth decades ago. Further, there are now early detection methods that locate signs of autism as early as 12 months; before the MMR vaccine and way before the booster. So much for that theory. The only increase is in the rate of detection. Unless the child was completely non-responsive, they were just considered stupid or retarded. Now it's understood there's a class of neurological abnormalities leading to an entire spectrum of cognitive and behavioral variations.

Everyone who used to be "diagnosed" as retarded is now classified. So yes, numbers within those classifications have risen.

"are you the type that has no interest in both sides of an issue."

Depends on the issue. If the issue has two (or more) reasonable sides, then I'm very interested. If the issue is "are birds real or are they government surveillance drones?", then no, I'm not interested.

On the flip side, for every one of you who don't get vaccinated, there's more opportunity for COVID-19 to spread, replicate, and mutate. So that's risking actual lives.

But here I am, against and vaccine mandates. Why? Because I support the right of each person to make their own decisions about what's best for their own health. Don't want a vaccine? Don't get it. I'm fine with that. But you should then also be fine with me choosing to get it. And others as well. Supporting freedom goes both ways.

Maybe, if you would just watch the video I posted in post 34, you might understand why so many of us don’t believe in the nonsense debunking theory. Just saying something is debunked, is not actually debunking something. It kind of ranks up there with Bill Clinton “taking full responsibility” for all his transgressions. It meant nothing.

But you won’t. you would rather cover your ears, close your eyes, and yap lalalala.

Woops there it is!!!!

This.....I have kept asking you why you care so much if others don’t get vaccinated. you are sounding just like a gun grabber. Really, I’m against mandates for vaccines, but if you don’t get one, then I am at risk.

You know darn well who that sounds like. Seriously, you name calling screamers need to knock it off.

This is not about health, it’s about control. More and more people are waking up to this.

I’ve said multiple times in this thread and others - including in the very post you’re replying to - that I’m against any vaccine mandates. Yes, it increases the risk when people choose not to get vaccinated, but it remains their right as individuals to make their own decisions about their health. I support the right of each person to decide whether to get vaccinated or not.

Do you support my right to choose to get vaccinated?

I don’t care. Talk is cheap. Do you believe the gun grabbers who say they are all for 2A, but want to save people from themselves? You can’t possibly have the username that you have and not understand exactly what I am saying.

After all your anti vaxx screeching, pardon me for not believing you.

Have you watched that video yet?

OK, so I had my shot Tuesday afternoon and I have felt fine since. Given my history with flu shots, I was joking with the young lady giving me the shot that “I hope I just didn’t give myself ‘rona!” 5 days in and the only thing I have is a card...

The young lady giving the shot offered the thought that people that are having reactions to this are people that “react to everything, and God help them, there are a LOT of folks like that.” Every herd has outliers.
