Lol, do you consult the “Art of the Deal” before deciding what to eat for breakfast every morning? Or do you concede that there are some opinions we are allowed to have, independent of President Trump?
“I heard interviewed this morning. She was logical and cogent on the issue. The articles are full of crap”
Easy to say, but did she explain how her version of the new law will act to protect women’s sports, since no one can seem to figure out that part? Or is she just a very good talker?
Taht’s an excellent list.
At some point, be it 2024 or 2028, we’re in the post-Trump Republican Party. We need to make sure that the post-Trump Republican Party is still aligned with the values of the MAGA movement. The people President Trump cited are well-equipped to keep the party so aligned.
Build around them. We need more like them.
“More a feeling. I’ve watched him as Attorney General and as Senator, have met him twice, and have come away with the feeling that there is no ‘there’ there. He’s in it for Hawley at any cost.”
Damn! Sounds like a ‘Ted Cruz’ with a bit more political brains. Oh well, we still have Desantis.
Why not? Ted has been strong and solid.
You may be right about Governor Noem, but you should listen to her explanation of what she did.
It’s politics, you will never get precisely what you want. Perfectionism is a major enemy of conservative victories. If a potential candidate agrees with you 90% of the time, you’ll support that candidate strongly. It’s about moving the needle, then moving it some more. And then some more.
Of the names Trump mentioned Desantis impresses me the most.
You forgot the sarcasm tag on that.
I definitely have not written her off.
As Morton Blackwell reminds us, “Never let the perfect be the enemy of the good.”
Gaetz is a prospect, a future star, but may not be ready yet.
This may well hve been part of Governor Noem’s calculation:

Ted Cruz has more principles (the right ones) than just about anyone in Congress.
There was no sarcasm.
Desantis is top dog for the vp spot and next candidate.
Love Marjorie Taylor Greene but not for VP,
Since Doug Collins won’t run I’d rather see Greene running for senate than Hershell Walker
