I got hepatitis in Mexico, went to Chile for another job, then to Argentina for a third job. By the time I got to Argentina I was really sick.
A guy I worked with said “You are sick with Hepatitis. I’m taking you to the hospital.” His driving should have scared every germ out of my body. He was driving with one tire up on the sidewalk, squeezing past cars on the right, and forcing pedestrians out of the way and ignoring red lights. All the while he was complaining about the crummy drivers in Buenos Aires!
I cop bud said he’d hardly ever wrote speeding tickets simply because he hated being a hypocrite.
He told me about “choir practice”. It’s when they all got together, got wasted t a party and just drove home like it was nothing.
“Savior.” If you didn’t have a savior in the PD, your days were numbered.
Cops stealing: from fireworks that they confiscate, guns, drugs, you name it. He went to a reported business burglary and when he showed up, cops were loading TVs into their cruisers. He told the chief, chief says to his sergeant, what did you see. Sarge says nothing happened. Chief says your boss is always right. Nothing happened.
It’s more corrupt than most people are willing to believe. He said most good cops are out within a few years because of either that can’t stomach what they see their brothers do or they don’t get their “savior.”
The police know the criminals. Why are they police setting speed traps.
I’m so ashamed.
