California's teachers unions do not want teachers to go back to schools where the counties are in "purple"...Remember the color system set up by Governor Gavin...Purple is the most restrictive category...
Most CA counties are in "purple" at this time...I don't know when many of them will be able to get out of "purple"...Maybe several months from now? By then, it is time for summer break...No school...
I don't really see CA schools reopen until September...Unions have no problem with that...I don't see Governor Gavin fighting the unions too hard on this issue...Not really...

Meanwhile, infectious disease specialized Fauci is also asked for an opinion on funding abortions in foreign countries, and says “Yes, if we kill all the babies, they will not get COVID”.
I didn’t mean to decry home schooling. I’m a retired teacher and I am for it. My nephew was home schooled and went to Oxford Uni. I am just saying the feds may say look at all the lower scores of those being taught remotely and use it as an excuse to challenge home schooling which the unions want to get rid of. I’m glad your son is out of public school.
