Susan Collins was Liz Cheney before Liz Cheney was Liz Cheney. She was one of the votes against Obamacare repeal.
She is just like Mitt the Twit, get Trump to back your re-election and then “et tu Brute”
This is an admission that they have nothing and they need to make something up. Any deal with Chris Coons in it is made of snake urine.
OK, so how was the 14th Amendment prohibition implemented? I assume that every ex U.S. officer who served in the Confederate military and every ex-elected U.S. official who became part of the Confederate government were banned from U.S. office until pardoned by Congress.
I seriously doubt that there was any question of who participated in the Civil War on the side of the South. How is what happened on January 6th in any way comparable? Was President Trump part of the “mob” that “stormed” the sacred halls of the Capitol?
I’m seriously getting tired of this crap from people who hold high office in our government.
Pretty sure they can’t do that.
This coming from someone who is elected office for life, if she wants it. If she was under the threat of real term limits, I wonder if that would affect her thoughts about President Trump.

How many states do you think might view it as legal? At least legal enough to find some hack-judge to keep Trump’s name off of state ballots.
They don’t have 67 votes but they have 50. So they pass this crap and Trump runs anyway. How would they stop him?
I am not sure the Supremes would even get involved or if they did I don’t see them supporting the dems on this. Of course if there are 15 SC justices by that time all bets are off.
The dems would have to stack the SC court to defend this boneheaded move.
