I have watched the videos of her shooting that have been posted on the internet. There is absolutely no reason the trigger should have pulled. Pulling the trigger is the final option when your life is threatened. No way was the shooter’s life threatened. Makes me sick!

Here’s the one incontrovertible fact: Before the shooting, a group of cops decked out in tactical gear and armed with rifles come up the stairs right behind where this occurred. There were about as many of them as there were in this small group of agitators. WHY DIDN’T THEY ARREST THOSE PEOPLE? Instead, they just went back down the stairs and the next thing that happens is the shooting from the other side of the glass.

The woman who was killed should not have been doing what she was doing, but this could have been easily resolved without shooting her.

For a police officer, I think the rules are different based on their training. It would be interesting to see their training manual.

For a CPL holder, it is generally correct that if you draw your concealed weapon, it should be to use deadly force. The reason is that most states have brandishing laws, which means that displaying your weapon without firing can be interpreted as trying to brandish or intimidate someone. Also if someone is not exercising deadly force against you and you draw your weapon, you have just escalated the confrontation to a deadly force level, that can mean you loose your right to assert self defense as you made it a deadly force confrontation. The bottom line for civilians is generally, don't draw a weapon unless you life or someone else is in danger. If you fear for your life, then you should shoot to live and keep shooting until there is no longer a threat.

Usually the left publishes the names of officers involved in fatal shootings.

I don’t think it was a police officer. I think it was probably some leftist, anti-gun Congressman’s security.
