at this point its pretty obvious we’ve had a foreign coup disguised as a US Presidential election

I think we had that coup first in 2008 - it accidentally got undone in 2016, but they moved mountains to restore it.

Understood. I am fully aware of the high bar for Treason and why it is there.

But did Bergdahl commit treason? At the very least desertion in war, but he went to the other side, so...not desertion, treason.

Likewise, Jane Fonda.

Well, they use the fig leaf of “these aren’t declared wars” but adults understand the act is the same.

All of the founding fathers were traitors to the legitimate ruling authority in 1776.

They had a pretty good argument in regards that, which works in a larger sense even to this day.

Those who wish to prosecute and punish others for treason or sedition should consider one question. What is the line between dissent/opposition and treason?

To some on the left posting on Free Republic, or voting for Donald Trump, are acts of treason.

Part of the point is that the left has long since defined treason away, so that there is no definition aside from ‘something we don’t like’. It makes nothing treasonable and anything treasonable on the flip of a dime.

I have never been in that camp of simple “you voted for candidate x, that is treason” which is what the Left does. But to be fair, voting for a candidate who is clearly and unequivocally bought and paid for by a hostile foreign power, and knowingly doing so...is THAT treason?

Many stupid leftist voters may look at money sent to Hunter Biden to be given to “The Big Guy” may be and are stupid enough to buy the media’s pat stand that “The Big Guy” wasn’t Joe Biden, even contrary to Biden’s business partner who would know better and said otherwise.

But many Leftists know damn well he is bought and paid for.

If someone is conspiring with foreign countries to overthrow our Republic by buying off politicians and blackmailing to the same end, is that treason?

If people who work in government get on a zoom call, and discuss how to riot, take over government buildings, and organizing to do so...is THAT sedition? Because THAT sure as hell happened, and was known. I think it ABSOLUTELY is sedition.

My point is that there is no rule of law anymore, except when someone wants it to be.

And that isn’t rule of law as is done in a constitutional republic. That is rule by people, as is done in an oligarchy.

Deep State judicial oligarchy. Coming next: chaos and a totalitarian government.

Well, there is Alcee Hastings. Then the rats put him in congress.

Well, to be fair, he ran and has kept running as a rat, but it’s his constituents who put him and kept him in Congress.

illogical judicial systems whose irrational decrees distorted language itself

Examples: "It's a tax." and their new favorite, "has no standing".

They have not been "laughed out of court". The courts have refused to hear them at all. I don't think they have gotten an "evidentiary hearing" anywhere.

The rot is complete when you cannot even be heard in a court.

The other carving says, “Repression Breeds Violence”

Craved in stone above an entrance to the DOJ in D.C.

That engraving warms the cockles of Roberts’ black heart.
