“SF was so beautiful. The FOOD was so wonderful. My God, what have we done to this jewel, America?”

In a word? Democrats.

Mayor Pete and hubby should produce a Gay Cooking show and cookbook.

When some California business owners start going postal, who are the media going to blame?

Who do you think? Right-wing science denying Trumpists.

Funny thing is, when you talk to people about why they like San Francisco or New York, somewhere in the first three items is the variety and quantity of restaurants. When people realize that there are no restaurants in San Francisco and New York, where will they move? My guess is to a state where there are place to eat out.

“We” or at least most of us haven’t done anything...and there lies the problem. When protests in the streets are permitted and restaurants must close, we have an overly obedient society to ruling tyrants. Organize and go out for dinner!

And the sad part is... no matter the disastrous results of the policies of the dems who rule that state, they still get reelected by massive numbers. It’s all about the (D), and NOTHING else.

“Eateasys.”

The first rule of Eateasys is "Don't talk about Eateasys"

The second rule is "only arrest the Democrat politicians sitting at the tables".

Who gives a crap? It’s only middle-class small businesses that are the overwhelming majority that run restaurants and bars. The big businesses who give large amounts of political donations to politicians will be just fine...The poor don’t run the restaurants and bars and they have welfare and other assistance given by big governement so they will be fine too... /sarc

Yes, all part of the World Economic Forum (Davos) “Great Reset.” Covid lockdowns + economic devastation + massive bailouts paid for by confiscation of savings and backbreaking taxes = eventually no private property, no freedom of movement and global government. Don’t believe me? Look at the World Economic Forum website yourself and check out their plans. If they have their way it will never go back to normal - no jet travel, ultimately no cars, people working from home and kids doing school on Zoom. Of course no restaurants, very few clothes, very few social events. And masks will be a permanent feature. Fauci and the head of the WHO have both recently said we will still have to wear masks after being vaccinated. Learn about all this and tell your friends and family. We need to know what we are up against to make a plan.

They voted for this. Now let them get what they asked for.

San Francisco deserves this apocalypse. Their snarky residents keep voting for spectacularly incompetent and corrupt leftist government. The voters strut around sanctimoniously, voting like idiots, for idiots—because of course, they are morally superior to you and me.

San Franciscans will continue to reap the sh*t storm that they’ve sown. Good.

Will the French Laundry be forced to close as well? Or will it stay open to serve the likes of Newsom and SF mayor London Breed?

Every week, I watch as yet another restaurant goes under, permanently, in my Southern California town.

Most say they cannot survive on take-out or delivery. And now they’re shuttered...again.

“We” haven’t done anything to these once-beautiful, shining cities, especially SF.

The lefties and those who voted them in - and continue to vote them in- are to blame.

I had to stop going to SF because it’s become so dangerous and dirty - and I have immediate family there. Got tired of being harassed by homeless and having to watch my step on city sidewalks due to human feces and used needles.

I’ll bet there will be fine dining establishments open with no masks, no social distncing and very attentive service for the elites - only the finest for our rulers. This won’t stop until the shooting starts by the oppresed.

I used to love to visit San Francisco, but it’s a safe bet that I will never again set foot in San Francisco for the rest of my life.

When I ran the 2013 San Francisco Marathon it was bad then.
Coming out of Golden Gate Park we got on Haight St.
A good for nothing bum was shouting obscenities at a female runner close to me as she went by.

I have seen other aggressive deranged panhandlers other places.

I lived there a time in the late 80’s.
I won’t go back. It’s truly a beautiful place and a shame what the left did to the city.
