Most of the people who got COVID wore their masks all of the time. That number was like 60%.
People who wore them infrequently were the next highest.
And the people who never wore a mask had something like 3% of people who came down with COVID.
The science surrounding the masks has been a joke.
I worked an isolation unit when I did some nurses training in college. I had to learn how to mask up and gown up properly. There is a thing called a "sterile field" and you aren't supposed to touch the inside of your mask at anytime because that is voiding the sterile field. And yet what do I see? People with no instruction on how to use the masks properly taking their mask off and placing them in their pocket. Most guys I know NEVER wash their masks.
The mask is for social compliance, not for health reasons, although that is what they want you to think.
And did you know there is a bacteria which likes hand sanitizers?

I agree. But there are no sure things. I am sure how I feel about the mRNA vaccine and the mask.
I am 79 years old, and I do not intend to take the vaccine for at least 6 months after it is “approved,” if then!
And, I only wear a mask when I am required to - “maskless” everywhere else!
