That would not surprise me in the least.
They tried in Scott county, using an illegal recount method. MMM should be up by 27, not 6.
The Iowa Supreme Court is 6-1 GOP. I don’t think they can pull off the steal.
Scott county tried. They already played games and used an illegal method of recounting. They came up a little short.
The 6 vote lead includes the shenanigans that they played.
Coattail without a coat? Didn’t Trump do well in Iowa?
Tell me if she still leads after vote recount number 43.
Let Pelosi go first, takes vote of rest of House. If she does that (and the Rats have done so, most recently in IN IIRC in 70s or 80s) then GOP should seat John James and McSally in senate. The fraud, if any, in IA-2 was in my (Scott) county during the recount by the Dem. I’ll be happy if I can get Trump back, be it by as slim a margin.
>>Why don’t you go back to your friends at Democratic Underground?
Wow, don’t pick up sarcasm much I guess?
“GOP’s Miller-Meeks Wins Iowa-2 Cliffhanger by 6 Votes”
Probably would have won by more than 6 votes if she didn’t use a hyphenated name. While it may be cool to Leftists and does represent the second highest level of feminism (the highest being a lesbian, of course), it turns off some people on our side. Probably very few, but then in a 6-vote election, every vote counts!
Depends why the hyphenated name.
My cousin’s name is hyphenated, and has been for hundreds of years. It was because during the plague years, many names were dying out so a few places in Germany allowed the married couple to combine their names.
I’m a political junkie, that’s all. When you put yourself out there, it doesn’t matter if you’re right, or justified, all that matters is how it’s perceived by others.
While I admit that hyphenated names, for any reason, annoy me, I can certainly tolerate them. On the other hand, and not pertinent here, but if there are two names on a Republican Primary ballot, and I have no clue regarding either, I would pick the one without the hyphen, since that’s all I have to go on.
Even so, that’s a REALLY INTERESTING history - and sad, of course.
That makes 14 pick ups.
She won by too large a margin that they fell 6 votes short of stealing it.
Heard on the radio today that Iowa was going to certify its election, so I hope this is over and done with. Iowa went from 3 Democrats and 1 Republican to 3 Republicans and 1 Democrat. We would have booted Cindy Axne, too, if it hadn’t been for the libertarian and the squidgy Republican candidate, David “Milquetoast” Young. The only reason he ever got elected to anything was because he used to work for Grassley. Young is about as exciting as cold oatmeal.
Thanks!
