I think I’ve seen the other one. One of my faves is when DP went to Australia and spoke at s convention. You could tell the audience did NOT know these disappearances until he stopped 2 hours later, and it took one American to dig up the information.

Yea, cause helicopters cannot be equipped with thermal imaging cameras. Or something.

Drones make sense from the cost perspective. I’d think a search team could deploy several at a time with pre-programmed search patterns.

I also see a drawback. The lost person can hear a helicopter coming and make themselves more noticeable.
