Thanks for the GREAT article, Howie Carr. I wasn’t even aware of this victim. You’ve been dogging these people a long time, America thanks you for it!

A couple of my adult kids are visiting this weekend. We were talking about JFK last night and how if he hadn’t gotten shot, he wouldn’t go down as all that much of a President.
My one son is an engineer at NASA and said “Well, there was the whole space thing.”

This January, for the first time since 1962, and only the second time since 1946, no member of the wretched Kennedy family will be serving in Congress. I think they were out for two years starting in 2011. I had a "free at last" tagline celebrating it at the time. But then Joe III reinfested the building. Should have set some traps outside baited with booze and women.

Getting into a motor vehicle with a Kennedy for a young woman is like sticking your head in a gas oven.

$100 fine? These days that would be an outrageous penalty to a member of the elite ruling class like Bill C, Hillary C, Brennon, 0bama, et al

Pam Kelley was 18 years old in the summer of 1973 when she accepted a fateful ride in a Jeep from a male member of the Kennedy family on Nantucket. Joseph P. Kennedy II flipped the Jeep on a sandy cutoff and Pam Kelley was thrown out and paralyzed from the waist down.Surprisingly, or not surprisingly, I have never heard of this woman nor this incident. She certainly has my sympathy. Was there alcohol involved?!
And I would remind everyone... Never get in a vehicle with a Kennedy!

Yes, the Kennedy family did take up a lot of space, that’s for sure.

I turned 7 that day.
Well, myself and my other two sisters.
My father hated JFK with a passion not normally shown in his contenance.
As usual, on Sundays back then, the priest would make hay one year about how such a great Catholic JFK was and my dad flipped. I still cannot understand him being in the Catholic Church. Of course, back when they got married he actually had to sign documentation committing himself to raising any children he and my mom had as Catholics. I am guessing he took that signing seriously.

I have not forgotten.
It is one of those events in life that you can recall with almost perfect memory where you were when you heard the news.
