I’ve often asked these “Lost Causers’’ a question to which I never gotten an answer, certainly not one of any merit. The question is :If the South had won the war would they have freed the slaves?.
What you’re really saying is you know both rockrr and Bro Joe K run circles around you. Face it: You’re just a lying dumb ass Lost Causer who makes up his own facts.
Is the Aspergers kicking in again dude ?
Hilarious how DESPERATE a few of you are to waste time engaging in the same argument over and over again.
So desperate are some of y’all that you will go miles out of your way to hijack a thread that was not even about the subject of your obsession. This thread is one such example.
He is the sort of fellow, that if you ask him the time, he tells you how to build a clock.
"Ain't nobody got time for that!"
You are free to imagine whatever you like.
Bro Joe K runs all over you and you never can refute anything he hits you with.
Like some eighth grade girl you stick out your tongue and say “OMG, I’m not going to argue with you, you stupid head’’.
Oh, well thank you , your Worshipfulness.
Again, you fail to see that it is you who is the idiot here. It is y’all who constantly obsess over it. It is y’all who hijack threads that have nothing to do with it. Go back and read the first post. Read my response. Nobody was even talking about this until one of the usual suspects injected it into the thread out of thin air.
My first response to you was actually a defense of Southerners when I said it was, in effect, bigoted to think all Southerners were Klan members. I said this in response to the fact that many Freepers in the North are all liberals.
You jumped on my post right away , assuming I was referring to you. And as far as ‘’nobody was talking about this until one of the usual suspects interjected into the the thread out of thin air’’. More of your bs. People were talking all over the thread about it, including YOU!
I may be slow to learn, but after about the eight time of rebutting his argument, I finally figured out it was not worth the trouble to do it.
When I was younger, I might have pursued the "argumentum ad naueseum" methodology, but "ain't nobody got time for that" nowadays.
Ah, no the man is far more erudite, composed and knowledge about the subject than you could have ever be. And, for what it is worth, ‘’Christian charity’’ as my late mother would have said, have a Happy Thanksgiving.
He often tries to throw a blizzard of information at us with the expectation that the display of arcane civil war knowledge will convince us that his arguments are correct simply because "look how much he knows!"
This is "argumentum ad vericundiam", and I have never had respect for the notion that someone is correct on a particular point because they are an "expert." Indeed, my experience with "experts" makes me believe they hide behind a lot of formal knowledge in the hopes that people will not notice how little they really know when it matters.
Doctors and Lawyers hiding behind Latin, Greek and arcane legal and medical terms are an example that comes to mind.
BroJoeK does in fact know considerably more about the civil war than most people you will ever encounter, but he also slants everything he says a certain way in an effort to support what he wishes to believe. He is a religious zealot who cannot be swayed no matter what you bring against him. I am fond of pointing out his irrationality in comparing Sumter to Pearl Harbor.
And may you and your family all enjoy a very happy thanksgiving as well! I've seen a lot of good news today regarding the efforts to overturn election fraud, so I think we will all have reasons to be happy for thanksgiving!
:)
Same old ugly dry drunk South hater that you always are. Bottoms up.
My first post in the thread discussed the cultural differences that have existed between the South and New England literally dating back to their origin in England - ie the early 1600s.
Then OF COURSE you know who just had to come along and say everything was all about slavery slavery slavery......because that one note is all he can play. Nevermind that it had nothing to do with the thread. Nevermind that it wasn’t a political issue until the 19th century. To him the South = slavery. There is no room for any other thought in his head apparently.
See, two can play at that silly game. I don't hate Southerners for Gods sake.
Remember you said you liked yanking my chain because it was ‘’easy?’’ Turn around is fair play. Right?
Agree with you on many points on Bro Joe K.But as to a ‘’blizzard of information ‘’however I don’t agree. He doesn’t need to have any one of you see ‘how smart’’ he is for his own sake. I think the man is humble and confident in his abilities.
I’m hoping, praying for a miracle for our President Trump.
Praying but it’s got to be a miracle. Thanks for your warm wishes.
