Agree. Leo Terrell also offered his services for free. I don’t know whether he finally joined Trump’s team or not.

That’s why, unless we all want to live like that, something drastic might have to happen.

Recall in 2016 the Left doxed the electors and tried to threaten bribe coerce and intimidate them into not voting for Trump following the general election.

Rudy or Jay Sekulow?

What would be the point? The power of doxxing is the threat of violence from more daring members of the mob while keeping one’s own hands clean. If things really escalate to the point where it’s necessary to fight, we’ll know who and where.

People like Ted Bundy get lawyers. The legal guys may have contempt for a serial killer, but they recognize that he deserves legal counsel.

Zealous legal council — regardless of guilt or bias — has been a must in this country, even since John Adams represented the British soldiers involved in the Boston Massacre.

Without it, we are no better than a banana republic or totalitarian society.

But then, that might be the goal...

It should be. But...

this federal law only applies to narrow categories of individuals, including:

“Any officer or employee of the United States or of any agency in any branch of the United States Government (including any member of the uniformed services);
jurors, witnesses, or other officer in or of, any court;
informants or witnesses in a Federal criminal investigation or prosecution; a State or local officer or employee whose restricted personal information is made publicly available because of the participation in, or assistance provided to, a Federal criminal investigation by that officer or employee; However, if you don’t fall into one of the above categories, there is no federal law that criminalizes all of the conduct that may be called doxing, such as publishing someone’s contact information. However, there is a federal law against stalking that may apply to many doxing incidents.”

If they can’t take a little heat or put aside their own biases, then no one should ever hire them.

Porter Wright should be toast.

Why did they take the job in the first place ?

Maybe the prospect of money. Maybe fame/notoriety of the case. Or maybe they believed the case would be a slam-dunk, quickly-resolved matter that wouldn't interfere with their existing caseloads. Sort of like the old saying "their eyes were bigger than their stomachs".

And this is why you fight back against stupid rhetoric like “Trump is Hitler”

Because then communists will band together and claim that defending the right to a fair election is supporting Hitler.

Of course there are. Look at it this way: If you had infiltrators, trouble-makers, or cowards on your legal team, you’d want them weeded out, rather than them staying around and possibly fouling up the outcome Gotta get rid of the chaff in order to make room for good wheat.

The “bad apples (so to speak) had sterling reputations before this, and had won many very high-profile cases. Sometimes there’s just no way to identify a person in advance who’s going to turn on you.

Leo Terrell, referenced a little earlier in this thread, is an encouraging sign. Where there’s one, there’s more.
