Pray that the recount goes for the Republican! If that happens, then Iowa will be stuck with just one Democrat representative, Cindy Axne. She only won because of a libertarian in the race and the Republican, David Young, being as exciting as cold oatmeal.

In 2022 we really need to visit with the Libertarian Party and the Constitution Party. They’re killing these elections.

There shouldn’t be razor-thin margins in Iowa.

Would this be a pick-up for the GOP, or just a maintain?

Are there any reliable forecasts out there of what the House of Representatives count (Dems Vs Repubs) will be after all the votes are counted?
To: ealgeone
Political scientists would say 3rd party voters just stay home if those candidates werent there on the ballot
To: ealgeone
It wont do any good. Kook, Bryan Jack Holder likes the attention. Hell probably do it again in two years.

I noted the absence of the Green Party in the crucial states. Now isn’t that interesting!

Pick up, RAT Loebsack was rep before.

I’m sure many third party voters would stay home, but some would pick what they consider to be the lesser of 2 evils. For libertarians and constitution people, I think that would most likely be Republcian. The Green-whackos would go Democrat.

The Democrats have adopted all their insane policies, so they don’t need a third party.

With a 50 vote Miller-Meeks lead, there is no need for a recount.
To: Gene Eric
This is very much a traditional Democrat area with strong union and Catholic influence.
Miller-Meeks has run for this seat several times and isnt really a strong candidate.

Really? A fifty vote lead is enough?

The Republican won.
Fifty votes is enough.

Works for me! Boo yah!
I think the Iowa election board is still messing with it, though. We will see.
