In this situation, the electoral college will call the election, and that’s not until mid-December. Which is not to say there might not be legal challenges ongoing even then or beyond that time.
The massive hypocrisy of the Democrats and their pet media are evident — they obstructed Donald Trump at every turn and demonized his support base. Now suddenly the narrative is all about co-operation, following historical precedent, allowing Biden to prepare to govern.
It’s as if the last four years never happened. But they did happen and there will be consequences no matter what the outcome of this.
I can’t edit but should clarify, as another poster already did, the actual date is early January when the Congress meets to receive and ratify the Electoral College results. The EC meet in December but their results are not immediately known then.

It will not be too hard for some quantitative analysis to determine what is in the realm of possibility, and what is not. With a huge sample (millions of voters), legitimacy can be determined.
