Twitter Suspends U.S. Border and Customs Chief For Celebrating Wall Protection From Illegal Aliens.

They experienced high growth a few months back when some high profile conservatives were suspended from Twitter and people like Don Jnr and Bongino opened an account there. Their growth has slowed somewhat since.
I dont know that new accounts will necessarily be opened at a faster rate just because of the elections. Neither presidential candidate is on it.
All it will take is for the big boss to switch his account to Parler. He is not going to do that now, but he may very well open an count on Parler in his second term.
The only thing Twitter has going for them is the high user base with most of Hollywood and the media there. There really isn't anything special about their interface, software, response times etc.
And their market cap is tiny as compared to big tech companies like MSFT GOOG AAPL & FB. Their profits are nothing to write home about and their sales and profits went down during the pandemic lockdowns even as MSFT AAPL etc continued to rock.

Bongino is on Parler and owns shares in Parler.

Bongino has shares in Rumble, an upstart video platform. He doesn't own anything in Parler.

Nothing wrong with using your opponent's platform to grab business for yourself.

Actually, there is something wrong with it. It means your own platform sucks so you still have to suck off the teat of the guys you want to knock off. Look, I hate Jack Dorsey, the guy's a total douchebag, but Twitter revolutionized online communication and is one of the greatest communication inventions since the printing press. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

TV networks do that all the time.

Where? No TV networks do cross-advertising unless it's for playoff sports. They might cite other networks for a story, but they don't do what you are citing.

For example you see promotions on YouTube all the time trashing YouTube censorship of conservatives or whoever and encouraging people to use the direct web sites to watch a video instead of watching it on YouTube.

I am not on Twitter and I communicate just fine. Twitter has 175 million users. The world has a population of close to 8 billion.
There are tens of thousands of apps people use to communicate on the internet.
WeChat has 1.2 billion users. Tik Tok has over 800 million users.
Twitter? Don't make me laugh.

TV networks regularly advertise on each others networks to promote major programs. Its money in the bank.
They have been doing it for decades.
