What you describe is also going on in PA. The D’s control key positions and make sure they pack the precinct tables with their people, even though there is supposed to be both minority and majority party representation at the table. They have made a total hash of the mail-in ballots as well. They have multiple strategies for making it more difficult for the R’s to observe or challenge the process. I’ve done this for years and it is a chronic problem. I expect this year will be worse than ever. Spending hours in the poll being insulted by the election judge, sworn at by the nice suburban D’s and threatened by the D party leaders is just the typical election day experience of an R committee person. I have little doubt most of these unpleasant neighbors have nice yard signs telling me that ‘hate has no home here’.
In PA, you are not allowed to take pictures of video of people voting. It’s considered voter intimidation. It’s probably similar in most states.
Oh wow. Thanks for your sharing your experience. This is my first year for working polls (retired so have more time). I’m still waiting for my credentials. I’ve emailed the trainer twice who was suppose to email me, etc. Hasn’t yet At this point, I probably will not work.
Yeah, don’t you love those hate has no home here signs. Gag.
Dems are really good at intimidation. Really wish we would get these issues addressed; then they wonder why our side doesn’t offer to work the elections.
Our state as well.
Damn that’s good to hear, Larry! My biggest concern is the massive number of illegally cast ballots, especially in the swing states. Bob Creamer and Scott Foval don’t need to bus in or rent cars for people any longer. Plan B is their hired agitators and attorneys to create chaos post-election day. Haven’t heard whether the RNC has hired equal number of attorneys or the DOJ is on this?
