I feel confident in my memory that Mr. Liddy also used the subject discussion to reference the other meaning of the word "hung," as it related to his — ah — own physical endowment, as it were. I remember that he discussed in intimate detail his southern physique on more than one occasion, and seemed to grasp at almost any excuse to do so. This after a time lapse of about 25 years since having listened to him. I enjoyed his show very much, and he often made me laugh out loud.
Another odd word of that type is "flied", as it relates to the generation of an out by means of a fourth fly ball hit by a batter in a baseball game. The expression used to describe that situation is "he flied out," which always struck me as sounding illiterate when it is first heard, as does "he was hanged," even though each is grammatically correct
For the cold, bloody murder of the English tongue.
Yes I have sinned,, I admit the deed
The following is said / typed with dripping sarcasm. How dripping you may ask, that your shoes squish when you walk.
Mrs. "G-Man" a.k.a. Mrs. Liddy sure owned a lot of guns and such. LOL!!!
