I hope Trump’s coattails are strong enough to drag Graham across the finish line. I just don’t see South Carolinians splitting their ballots and voting for Harrison and Trump.

All I see are articles about the fundraising for this race. What do the polls say?

I’m so happy we did the right thing and passed the 17th Amendment and got rid of all this money in Senate elections.

It’s important to keep this seat, but keep in mind if McCain were still alive Graham would be undermining and gouging Trump at every chance.

IN before the first "Linda" mockery.

Over the years, I too have been frustrated at times with Lindsey Graham. Lately (seemingly with the death of Sen. McCain), he has been right a lot more than he has been wrong.

He fought courageously to get Kavanaugh onto the court, and for his outspokenness, the Left has viciously targeted him for destruction. To lose his seat to another rabid Marxist would be a disaster not just for SC, but for all of us.

We don't need any more snide comments from people who consider themselves more conservative purists than Graham. What we do need is help to get Graham re-elected. I sent him $50, and would like to see many others do the same (send more if you can!)

And for tards who feel predisposed to do so, flame away.

For what they’re worth the polls show the race even.

As for the money....so what. Despite the campaign saying they were small donations I’m betting it is Soros or the like money.

Small donations my ass. That would be 2.8 million $20 donations. This money is coming from big money and being masked and if the Republicans win the White House and the Senate they better start investigating this shit on January 21. Is the Democrats path to flipping the Senate that narrow they have to rely on South Carolina?

I agree, it would be stupid to wish we lose a seat.

On the other hand, you must admit, who could NOT be sick to death of Lindsey Graham and his endless self-promotion, false promises, creepy affection for John McCain (shudder) and the perhaps irrational feeling that he’s a deep-state plant, just waiting for the right time to (politically) stab President Trump in the back.

I bet at least 75% of that money came from overseas: China, Iran, ...

We won’t find out until 2 or 3 years from now. Then it will be “old news.”

I live in South Carolina now and you can’t turn on the TV or radio without seeing or hearing an ad for Jaime Harrison. You can barely open up a website without seeing his ads on your screen. He has so much money to spend that his campaign even had an ad that criticized the Constitution’s Party’s Senate candidate.

I’m betting there’s a lot of foreign money in that total.

Lindsey was on Fox last night. Maybe he was tired, I don’t know, but I told my wife he looked worried. She agreed.

They’re going to spend so much money just for their candidate to get crushed by Trump’s coattails

Sounds like our demoncrat candidate running again because he lost last time. We have a John Ossoff here and his ads are constantly running. He’s an annoying little twerp. Trying to unseat David Perdue. Not going to happen but he and his campaign will throw money about at anything.

From out of state. Yes, there are lots of Leftie billionaires. We know. 9 of the 10 richest people in America are Democrats. The Democrats are the party of billionaires and penniless gibmedats as well as a few assorted grievance groups.

What Graham needs to do is get ACB’s nomination out of committee, and between he and McConnell to a full vote on the floor before the end of October. If not, if he blows this, he’ll not get my vote, the seat be damned. We’ve all had enough of Graham. And like someone said above, were McCain still in the senate, Graham would be sticking it to Trump. I still believe he was a lot more “in the know” with the Russia hoax and has managed to skate under the radar, for the time being. But, as it is right now, I’ll hold my nose to vote for him.

I think the electorate is so polerized that there will be very few ticket splitters.
