The black hand was obviously a reference to the famous Italian extortion racket, known as the "Black Hand". Quinn Simmons clearly felt that this Jose Been character was using threats and intimidation, in an attempt to extort specific action(s) from his readers; Mr. Simmons was simply publicizing the fact that he refused to be a victim of extortion...

Now we learn saying “bye” and affirming you support Pres. Trump is incendiary or divisive and will get you ejected from the team. But, saying there is zero excuse to vote for Trump is just fine.
