Re your post the DOJ's mission statement says that its job is "to ensure public safety against threats foreign and domestic". Obviously they're not performing in accordance with their own mission statement.

If we did get a new FBI director, he would have to start a fresh investigation because it’s clear that Wray isn’t doing much. Wray still believes that white supremacists are the most important threat. He’s running interference for the opposition.
