Next will be Romney but I doubt it on this one, could be wrong as he would love the spotlight for taking Mitch down to 50 by which he still could proceed. The Mormon Church wants change on the Supreme Court, this is a big issue with them and in a state that is 70 percent Mormon, Romney may not defy them.

She has her seat because of Democrats. They wrote her in.

Yeah, I think Romney will keep it close to the vest, but I suspect he will choose to vote.

The Murkowski family has a long history of being crooked in Alaska..Sarah Palin talks about it all the time..would be great if Sarah went after Lisa’s seat when her term is up

Hope there is a Kodiak brown bear in Murkowski’s future.

So we go 4-4 into the election if up to her.

If the GOP can't replace RBG with a 53-47 control over the Senate, the base will be so demoralized that it'll likely cost both President Trump and Mitch McConnell their jobs, a defeat so clear we won't even need to bother counting the mail ballots.

There will be no need to contest the election in the courts

There’s still some time for Mitch to knock her around a little and offer her a come-to-Jesus event.

I thought so far only Collins and her. I think it’s on Grassley at this point he is a yes it goes he says no it’s done and you will hear RBG laughing all the way from hell.

Don’t forget Manchin, he is likely to vote for the nominee, so add at least 1 Dem vote.

McConnell should tell her ,in no uncertain terms ,that she will get no help when she runs for reelection. Ronna McDaniel should also let her know she will receive no help from the RNC.

Murkowski disgusts me, but that traitor never surprises me. We all expected her to side with the deep state against the American people.

Romney needs Dems in power in the White House. He also needs to not be hated in perpetuity by all patriotic Americans. Dilemma for him. He’s the one in a bad spot right now. I hope he wishes he hadn’t thrown the election to prince stompeyfoot

Are we sure it’s a non vote? And not a no vote?

No. People don’t associate trump with the senat. The senate literally never supports trump. Even during impeachment. They treat him like the outsider he is.

McConnell needs only 50 votes in order to proceed and 50 votes to confirm. He can lose Romney and still prevail even if the three of them actually vote against the nominee; what he cannot do is proceed if he has less than 50 votes. So if Cory Gardner breaks, its over; I doubt this will happen as his only chance of victory in his Senate race is the Republican base in Colorado - the Denver/Boulder left wing axis will never vote for him whatever he does. Tillis, Portman, McSally have all announced they will vote to proceed. My only real concern is Alexander of Tennessee but I think McConnell already has a deal in place.
