Aldabra giant tortoise named Jonathan was born in 1832 and is 186 years old. Photo on the left taken in 1902 and the one on the right in 2017. Jonathan lives on the land of Saint Helena in the South Atlantic Ocean.

Some of my Grandmother’s family owned a large pecan orchard, near Lockhart. I can imagine them doing something like that. (no evidence, they were not known for being daredevils.)

Statue of Liberty in its original copper form in Paris before it was transported to New York City, 1886. Made of copper, the statue started oxidizing, thus changing its color to green.
