During the mid 1990s, I posted heavily on Prodigy, especially the Whitewater BB. Seems like another lifetime ago. Prodigy cost $3.60 an hour (after the first 20 hours that were included each month) and so there was software to download the bulletin boards so that you could read and respond offline. So I had years of posts backed up to a spare hard drive that I used with my IBM PS/1 but it got destroyed in a basement flood and so those posts are lost forever. Still remember some of the names, Karen Bixman, Larry Barleen, Judith Pedgrift...
FReepers were the original Anons.
God bless Doctor Raoul. God rest his soul...
I'm about to sign off, and too tired to read this article right now (which looks great at first glance), but I will do so tomorrow (Monday).
Your video... Ugh! That POS Kimber is *still* around, causing trouble in the streets of New Haven. I sometimes see him on the local 11pm news. HE was the one who should've been sued, not you!
ping! :-)
Since I needed to pay a lawyer to do that and was only able to pay off the lawyer due to a fundraiser here, that was not an option.
Also, they were not optimistic of winning do to the OJ Jury effect.
But, you were dead right! At the least, he should have been arrested.
I can’t believe LS didn’t mention Jim Robinson being in the Mossad. :) He actually called JR by another name but age has taken that away
I do miss the Libertarian wars with OWK and the like.
I remember going out into the street at the hotel to meet you folks coming in. Also, riding back to the hotel after the Rally with T’wit(RIP) who saved me from having to walk.
Yep. Sorry.
BTTT
I have been living in Dixie for 10 years now and wish I was raised here!
Where are you? I’ve been in South Carolina for 18 1/2 years and I feel the same.
I just remembered who came up with the Sore Loserman logo. It was Registered. I've been racking my brain for a day now trying to think of his screen name.
It was Registered
You are singing my song. LOL
I have to admit I miss the guy. He loved to grab has Socratic Style book and stir up people to make them think.
I don’t know about the blue lines, but he ran a super pro-police rally next to City Hall a few weeks ago. Lots of money behind it, puts our little rallies to shame. Video screens, great music that had people dancing in the street, huge speakers that you could hear for blocks. And he gave a great speech, too. Lots of people showed up. Lots of support from people driving by.
His website is scottlobaido.com
Kewel story...
I Believe that you are right. Then a bunch of other people stepped up with some pretty good variations.
I once posted a thread about the history of it. But FR no longer holds it.
Surprisingly if you search google images then you can find some the signs.
