Nothing electronic is ‘secure’

If the voting results are fed into a Read-Only Memory (ROM) disc not connected to the internet or to other software, it's secure.

There is No Chain of Custody with Mail In Voting.

The same applies in a Criminal Case. Your Lawyer shows the Chain of Custody for Evidence against you is broken, it is thrown out by the Judge.

Yep, and we all know that there isn’t anyone in the world that can hack it, right?

You sound like the kind of person who would love to own The Brooklyn Bridge.

Just yanking your chain... #;^)

The USPS Just Filed A Patent For A Blockchain-Based Secure-Voting System
It looks like the United States Post Office is getting in the business of voting.

It has recently been unearthed that he USPS filed for a patent on February 7, 2020 for a “Secure Voting System” that uses a blockchain access layer. Obviously, this could be one of the strongest signals of a welcome adaptation to blockchain by the U.S. government since blockchain was thrust on the map by Bitcoin.

“A voting system can use the security of blockchain and the mail to provide a reliable voting system,” the patent application says. “A registered voter receives a computer readable code in the mail and confirms identity and confirms correct ballot information in an election. The system separates voter identification and votes to ensure vote anonymity, and stores votes on a distributed ledger in a blockchain.”

Looking at Riot Blockchain

The “United States Postal Service” is listed as the applicant on the application.

“Voters generally wish to be able to vote for elected officials or on other issues in a manner that is convenient and secure,” the application says. “Further, those holding elections wish to be able to ensure that election results have not been tampered with and that the results actually correspond to the votes that were cast. In some embodiments, a blockchain allows the tracking of the various types of necessary data in a way that is secure and allows others to easily confirm that data has not been altered.”

Equally as interesting as the patent itself is the fact that the application was filed before the coronavirus had wreaked total havoc on the country and long before the idea of mail in voting was being tossed around by pundits and the mainstream media on the daily.

Er, uh, thanks, but I doubt it was "long before" the current wave of election fraud via SARS-CoV-2 plan was coming into shape on some people's drawing boards.

We can doubt that it’ll be ready that soon, despite their having a year to file after the patentable implementation was documented, but we can’t doubt that someone is likely to want to pull an election “fast one” here in the next 79 days.

Nancy’s calling the House back is probably the germ of that Left’s “fast one.”

Bloc CHAIN...In get it.

If you want a lesson in how blockchain works and how it is not hack able, PM me and I will explain how it works.

But yeah, I am sure you know already.

Fraud can also be introduced at the voter end, as well as at the counting end. Blockchain does not guard either end, and doesnt even have signature ID like absentee.

Not only no, but hell no.

“”blockchain-leveraged voting system””

Who is going to break that down in English for us? It begins where and ends where?

Anyone would be nuts to put money into brand new technology when no one has ever gotten a handle on the voting machines that have poured out problems for years. Let the dems squeal like the pigs they are. We don’t need to add another problem to the problems that already exist. You can bet there is an advantage to the dems for one reason or another which usually spells = FRAUD!

Who owns or perfected the technology, the system? There’s always money leading to someone!

No, you can see that someone that CLAIMS to be me voted. This will enable hellish vote harvesting in every state.

In order for the blockchain to work, I would have to generate a unique address for myself. That address has to be confirmed by the blockchain. Every “transaction” have to be verified by the blockchain. If someone tries to insert a non verified record, it has to match or it gets rejected by the blockchain.

And the entire thing is open sourced and public.

It is obviously more complicated than that, but it is doable. You would have to register with the voting agency and create your “address”. It would be the same as verifying for an absentee ballot. It’s just the “system” to vote would be secured under a new way.

Billions of dollars are transferred every day using the system. Inventories in the billions are managed this way. Medical records are managed this way. Every day. It is safe. It is secure. And it will save lots of time and money.

But, it is a change. Just like optical scanners and voting machines. My guess is you will live to see it. Not in 2020. But I bet that states are using some form of it in 2028.

Works for me.

Started with holding horses for farrier to do his magic.

Then I did some shopping today....groceries (chick thighs for sale for 99 cents /lb. Large package-—10—put into crockpot for the day & have plenty to freeze for next week forward.) Give a couple of containers to bachelor neighbor. When 2 hands are not enough, he always volunteers.

Went to do some other ‘supplies’ shopping....Love the chocolate Lab that hangs out behind their counter.

Went to bank.

Later this week, have to go to hardware store...bulk bungee materials needed to make new bungees out of hooks left from broken bungees. Also need NON SKID tape for ladder that goes to top hay rack on horse trailer. And more bait for rodents.

Lowe’s for some minor items.

Then, to Wal Mart for monthly needs there.

Gill up with gas for next time out.

IF I can do all of that with my mask, etc, then I most CERTAINLY CAN stand in line to vote.

If they make me drive some distance because they re NOT opening many actual in person voting stations, that is also OK.

I have a 1976 1 ton Chevy truck that I have already put over 250,000 miles on. 1979 Buick station wagon has over 160,000 of MY miles on it. Will drive as far as I have to.

OMG. Can you imagine the USPS trying to implement new technology in the next few months? They can’t even do with what they have now!!
