Columbus discovered America which was the initiating cause for it to evolve to its present day modern state. Class, if he had not discovered America, would the Aztecs and native Americans on their own built the high rises, technological marvels, planes, autos, railroads or would they have found a better mud compound to decorate their faces before warring with the tribe next door? Let’s see a raise of hands.
He didn’t discover a ‘country’ He discovered new lands that turned out to be two CONTINENTS and associated islands.
The countries came several centuries later. Ours in 1776.
When you don’t even know the correct terms for the discussion it makes it hard to take your point of view seriously.
Honestly.
***Funny how they depict the indigenous peoples as peace loving.***
Here is how the tribes treated each other before the white man arrived. And this is just my short list.

Crawling with people?
The North American continent had probably a million, and more likely half that number. No where near the 400 million they are trying to con us into believing. They were a Hunter-Gatherer society with a little farming on the side. No way this area could support the ridiculous numbers they are trying to foist on us.
The book MASSACRES OF THE MOUNTAINS by Dunn Jr has a good article on this . Chapter 1 introduction.

When I was in school in the 50s it was acknowledged that the Vikings got to America first. And, of course, the Indians were here for many thousands of years before that. And occasionally there are tantalizing hints that others from the Old World made it to the New.
But what can’t be denied, these earlier ‘discoveries’ did not change the history of the worldand Columbus did. It’s irrelevant that the ‘discovery’ was an accident, Columbus was wrong in is reckoning of the earth’s size, where he was or that the Americas would be ‘discovered’ in 8 years by the Portuguese. There are few humans who have ever lived who have had such a world-wide impact as Columbus and to try to minimize or denigrate his importance to world history is folly.
The more recent additions across that NW land bridge, likely are responsible for the demise of those which came from Polynesia and Australia. Cave art provides some interesting depictions of interactions round about the NW region of South America.

What exactly is it about these additional ethnicities that precludes the use of the word social to describe them? I think I know.
Leftist educators are rediscovering (reimagining) America. Are we fighting for schools to reopen for America-hating, Marxist indoctrination?
