I pitched a royal fit in a local Goodwill the other day over the one tattooed weird stalker employee who mocked my hearing loss 2 years ago.
For reasons I don’t get, he doesn’t understand why I ignore him rather than telling him to get bent.
The other day, he was screaming across the store HI REMEMBER ME?!? like a lunatic, to the point where other employees started yelling at me to tell me to say hi to him.
I stomped off and shopped around and was about to leave and so pulled down my muzzle so I could breathe and he jumped on me for that.
I couldn’t understand what he what saying, not being able to see his lips but then he started with the mask pointing thing.
So I told him it would be best if he ignored me like I ignore him, because yes, I DO remember him and him mocking me with sign language 2 years ago, which I don’t “speak”.
[he said, back then, verbatim “I do sign language because it freaks people out and makes them think I’m deaf. Ha ha ha”. No idea what the “humor” in that is]
So what does he do?
Goes right back into the sign language routine which goaded me into saying my doctor and the ADA says I don’t HAVE to wear the muzzle and would he like to pony up a $75000 fine?
As I went out the door, I saw him running to get “reinforcements”.
Come to find out from the manager that employees are NOT allowed to even question anyone who says “I can’t wear a mask”, let alone follow them, harassing them.
I’m at the end of this crap.
One day, somebody’s gonna push my button and I’ll go full Irish on them.
Hopefully they’ll let me use the internet in jail so y’all know where I went.

I have to have people write notes at my work, when I’m in the building.
People sometimes do pull down their masks so I can lip-read.
Boss has been trying to get disability Dept to help me out with this.
In order to noodge them, boss said in an email to them that lowering the mask wasn’t an option due to safety issues.

I’ve been hearing disabled a long time.
And we were worried that they would disband police...
This is a much safer role for police to play than murder and riots,
They don't need mace or pepper spray or tear gas or even guns to issue citations for improper mask wearing.
