Unfortunately that’s not how the House rules work. I know you want Barr to walk out in a huff. What you don’t get is that’s what they’re trying to get him to do.
At what point does an AG have the right to get up and leave when the rules are not applying, when it is nothing but a smear campaign. Our side always remains cool, can’t get up and walk out otherwise the image with the viewers will be as “quitters, can’t take the heat”. Does anybody think for one minute a DEM AG will allow any Republican to disrespect them the way the DEMS are disrespecting BARR? They would leave, they would go to the news in a press conference and say how they were being disrespected, rules of committee not being maintained fairly.
Our side: sit there and eat the crap off the spoon of the DEMS serving them to avoid negative message of not being able to take the heat.

The Democrats are vilifying Barr with their rhetoric, to be sure. But the more they talk and rage, the less their comments make sense when the pictures of the rioters are shown. They are supporting the rioters. Why should Barr get in their way?

AG Barr: I thought this is a hearing so I would be heard.
I think the D’s are not allowing him to speak because Barr is sane and reasonable.
I just think at some point in time we need to stand up and demand respect at these hearings. NO Dem AG would ever tolerate this. So House Rules forces BARR to sit in his chair and eat the crap the DEMS are serving because if he gets up and leaves then America will see AG as a quitter and can’t take the heat but it’s OK to allow the disrespect and smears to be lodged against an AG in a hearing.

If she was born in India, then no, as far as I know. No one seems to care about this little law anymore after Obama.
Why is it that the Democrats get major televised hearings on the issues that matter to them inside of a week, and we wait for years to get any movement on ANYTHING we care about?
The dems have been doing this for 4 years... when schiff read that made up story, Nunes sat next to him and didn’t say a word... he should have but the repubs are correct and the dems are out of control.
when in a war and only one side is playing fair, that side will lOSE.

I have watched just a bit of the hearing.....
I pray that Mr. Barr will get angry at the Democrats smearing his reputation and that he understands that our President has been the recipient of this and so much more.
If I was to question Mr. Barr I would ask him, “Do you think your policy of not prosecuting Democrats or their advocates in the FBI and CIA, that have clearly broken the law, has emboldened these Democrats to continue their abuse of truth and decency in today’s hearing?”

All you need to know is..reclaiming my time..whenever Barr tries to answer a lie.
I don’t want to hear anything Barr says until these rabid animals are taken out permanently with lead.
The dems work in unison... they get their talking points or their plan.. and carry it out. the media get those talking points also. Nothing the dems do is happen so...they plan their hate and demonstrate it every day till it becomes norm and others pick up the habit. they are merciless and not fit to watch if you value your sanity.
Today they are in unison to NOT LET BARR TALK... they want to do the talking ..knowing there are many watching..
they don’t have a mind of their own..each are controlled by the swamp pit.
D’s are well coached. “Reclaiming my time” to keep AG Barr from answering, forcing R’s to use their time to allow Mr. Barr to answer.
