Since when are Mexicans or Italians a race? As far as Chinese labeling goes, is this the end of all the Chinese food names in restaurants and grocery stores? No more General Tsoa's chicken, Chow Mein, or Wok prepared foods. No more Mongolian barbecue?

Trader Joe's in Illinois has made large food donations to large home school families. They aren't all bad. There seems to be some local input as to where the donations go. A Lowes in southern Georgia donated paint in building materials to a new pro-life crisis pregnancy operation, despite the parent company donating to Planned Parenthood.

It’s like saying that Mexican names associated with Mexican food is racist. Shall we tiptoe around this truth? Shall we say instead in our cute packaging that the new salsa was made by Trader Jürgen??

Sad. In our small, heavily black, old neighborhood, TJ’s opened a tiny little store with a barely there parking lot. This store was stuffed with customers all day and night. On sundays after church forgeddaboudit; you had to park 2 blocks away.

They were so successful they took over the lease on a major supermarket with a huge multi store parking lot where they still are today.
