If he said "If you're a human being" he'd have hit the mark. All humans are racist, in the sense most people mean, i.e. a distinct preference for people of one's own culture, language, and physical appearance. And an expectation of behavior by the "other" based on rumor and direct experience. And there's the the opposite, some reject their own and try to insinuate themselves into OTHER cultures, languages, etc.

The "worst" racists aren't "white" Americans, even among the rainbow assortment of types we have here, much less Japanese, Chinese, you name them. Everyone makes immediate assumptions based on appearance until more data is obtained. Assumption and caution without contrary data was no doubt an extremely valuable survival instinct when differing tribes first met. "Red and yellow, black and white, we hate each other at first sight" could be new words for that old hymn.

But to try and lay "guilt" on a particular people, who prompted by the revelation of Christ and the striving required to come closer to His standards, have struggled mightily for years against that aspect of our nature, is racist in the extreme. Liberals, heal thyselves. Or at least leave us the F alone!
