We have the rioters rampaging and shouting they want equality. Hell one would think the country was preventing them from foregoing education to run the streets, get high and make babies while shooting up their hood for excitement.
It is sad that they are kept from these accepted normalities in their lives by the whities. So they have to destroy, loot and vandalize to get even.
we are drowning in lies & low IQ voters
They are rioting to make sure there is justice, yet they demand NO justice for arson, looting and property destruction - no wonder we have anarchy, we simply cannot enforce the laws equally.
Exactly right. As a "person of color" friend pointed out to me, as lawless as the Rodney King rioters were, they at least waited until an unfavorable jury verdict before they rioted.
Why doesn't anyone in the media have the balls to point this out?
From PHILIP CARL SALZMAN of PJ Media — Who Kills African Americans?
Let us be clear at the outset that African Americans legitimately have grave complaints about the extreme abuse their ancestors suffered under slavery and the discrimination and disabilities imposed upon them after slavery.
Even today, long after the anti-slave campaigns of white Americans, the court decisions outlawing various forms of discrimination, and the good will efforts of many individuals and institutions to be inclusive and welcoming, African Americans live with serious disadvantages.
One catastrophic condition in the lives of many African Americans today is the horrendously high murder rate that they experience. While, according to the U.S. Census (U.S. Census Quick Facts), African Americans made up 12.6% of the U.S. population in 2010, and 13.3% in 2015, they, according to the FBI were in 2013 victims of 45% of the murders, in 2018 victims of 52.4% of the murders in the U.S., more than three times the rate that might be expected by population.
One might get the impression from the energetic campaigns of Black Lives Matter that African Americans are murdered by white racists, especially police. But, according to the FBI, in 2013, of the 2,491 Black or African American murdered, 189 were murdered by whites, 20 by other, 37 by unknown, and 2,245 by Black or African American. In other words, in 2013, 90.12% of African Americans murdered were murdered by other African Americans.
The years since are much the same, e.g. in 2018 , of 2,925 African Americans murdered, 2,600 or 89% were murdered by other African Americans. It is difficult to attribute this to white racism. And while in 2013, 189 African Americans were murdered by whites, 409 whites were murdered by African-Americans. In cross-race murders, more than twice as many whites have been murdered as African Americans.
The other side of the coin is that 48% of all murders are committed by African Americans, more than three times what would be expected from African-Americans 13% of the population. So African Americans are involved in the most serious crime, either as victims or perpetrators, at a rate that far exceeds other American communities. This cannot be considered a direct effect of anti-African American racism.
African Americans, like all Americans, have choices and make decisions. They are not automatons mechanically reacting to an adverse environment. African Americans have agency, select their goals, and act to achieve them. Most African-Americans do not choose to engage in crime; most choose to become productive citizens.
But too many African Americans do choose to engage in crime, and too many African-Americans have been their victims. How has Black Lives Matter addressed this sad fact? What campaigns are they carrying out to correct this catastrophic loss of their fellow citizens?
“low IQ voters”
Lenin had a name for them I think...
I think the author is missing the point of the anger that is in a lot of folks due to all of these incidents and their perception of what has gone on for years. Thus, the incident is a catalyst which starts the protests. Mind you, I do not support what is going on and I think it needs to do immediately.
ping.......Blacks and Antifa behaving as lynch mobs. Black lynch mobs, how ironic. Lynch an looting yo! is their winning formula. Gotta loot those new 55 inch Tvs and insta bricked iPhones. Antifa does the burning.
Floyd is an excuse for a long-planned riot season. In Minneapolis, they are finding stockpiles of Molotov cocktails, rocks, bricks, and other weapons prepositioned throughout the city. They have found an entire fleet of stolen cars used to transport personnel and weaponry. On Sunday morning, Bloomington MN police pulled over a car, the driver jumped out doused it with gas and attempted to set it on fire. MN is cooperating with other states to find out where all these cars were stolen from and when.
Now, tell me that all this wasn’t planned long in advance.
What’s going on is not protesting. It’s insurrection.
The rioters and looters are only helping these bad police. They are drawing attention away from what happened here.
The rioters and looters are wrong, dead wrong. And the police handling of Floyd was wrong, dead wrong. Both can be true.
Apparently they are protesting the very existence of police now.
Apparently, they are protesting the very existence of the United States.
Its a “culture” thing. The cops “disrespected” George Loyd and in so doing, they “disrespected” ALL Black people.
That would of course be “Blacks” idea of “respect”, which of course the rest of us would not recognize.
They aren’t protesting George Floyd - they are opportunistically using him as their “excuse” to loot/pillage/burn/destroy - a drunk uses any excuse to keep on drinking and terrorists use any excuse to do what they do.
Montana too?
I wasn’t aware they had their own “Brokeback Mountain” brigades there...
There will be when the cop is acquitted.
