Mayor Barbie is useless. At least Sissylak immediately called out the Guard. Kinda surprised me. BTW Soto who has been the Chief of Police for a few years now is the new city manager. So he’s a cop at heart.

Well, you better if The National Guard is around.
I was in Indian Lake when there were riots and the National Guard was called out...not pretty at night, but they were very nice in the daytime.
I guess that I’m not long for this earth. I’m generally a peaceable man - not an instigator. But when I see armed men wandering through my neighborhood I will be curious and attentive. Standing outside my door and filming intruders is entirely appropriate and entirely legal.
They gave the “Get inside!” order and then 4 seconds later issued the “Light ‘em up!” order. Within 2 more seconds they were firing on what must be interpreted as private citizens who where on their own property. The correct response to this unwarranted act of violence is to return fire. Except that I prefer .308 to paintball.
If this tactic is going to be SOP then I will revise my own strategies - and adjust my kit accordingly.
