Will FedEx fire him? (probably)
Will the courts permit a $$$ civil suit by the dead man’s family against the FedEx and the driver? (Likely yes)

That moron's family will sue FedEx and the driver for murdering the moron. He was turning his life around. He was going to loot the FedEx truck to donate to the less fortunate. 😋

Was a FedEx Ground double trailer, Tractor had no FedEx markings, so probably a contractor, FedEx ground drivers are mostly independent contractors.

No doubt he had no idea he was dragging a person - the dude was on the opposite side of the truck in between two trailers. He was worried about hitting people in front of him. He wasn’t about to stop and be beaten with a cinder block.
