If we don't have the courts to adjudicate legal disputes all we have is each other giving our opinions, which may amuse us but is otherwise inconsequential..

Courts are absolutely essential, but when they are clearly malfunctioning, we should recognize that their output is just garbage.

We should not simply accept the most ridiculous rulings that some court made up out of whole cloth, simply because they are supposed to be in "authority."

When they are wrong, they are just wrong, authority or not.
