He is doing this to help Lindsay Graham. It gives Graham yet another reason not to subpoena anyone:

“We have a preliminary indication;
BUT THERE’S AN ONGOING INVESTIGATION;
So we’ll not comment on the situation;
Until we have further information!”

BTW, that little quatrain was uttered, unwittingly, by the head of the bureau of transportation for Philadelphia, after a passenger train derailed in his city.
I since memorized it and used it to illustrate the tapdance bureaucrats use to keep from having to commit to anything.

Also 302s (and SAs interview notes must be discoverable!) must be recorded and available for the defense. If not recorded & notes not available then it didn’t happen!

Was that when you voted for hillary?

If Hillary won, Trump would be sitting in prison right now, all of this wasn’t because he would win, it was when he lost, Hillary and her corrupt DOJ and FBI would send him to prison as a lesson to others to never ever do that again (outsider run for president). Only deep state approved candidates can run.

Can we just skip the “investigation” and get to Wray’s final statement at the press conference already written and ready to go?

“We made some mistakes and are taking the steps to remedy this moving forward and restoring the trust in this institution. The American people deserve no less.”

Okay go home.

If there is even another long stalled investigation, then expect more of the same.

Think about past investigations. All the hype behind it, “tick talk”, “in 2 weeks”, “this i s unprecedented”, “... will be going to prison”, and at the end of the day LITTLE to NOTHING comes from it when it is anyone with power.

This what happens every time. Guys like Sean Hannity talk about it for months on end only to be let down at the very end.

The fact this happened under his watch and he does not get held accountable tells us everything we need to know.

Yup! It’s an exercise to ferret out all documents that could incriminate Wrape and his cronies and then destroy them, and/or doctor them to alter the evidence. The FBI doc repository should be raided and secured immediately, if not already too late.

Chris Wray knows he's DEAD MAN WALKING as soon as TRUMP or Biden gets reelected or elected in 2020

Here is the contrarian question to ask, "Who can you trust with doing an honest and thorough investigation of the FBI at this point?"

I think that most Freepers don't trust the FBI to do this by itself--especially with Wray at the helm. My first instinct is to look to another law enforcement agency. But I doubt that the Marshal's Service has the resources. I don't trust the DEA right now either.

This brings me to the Secret Service-- or a special task force drawn from the military's criminal investigation agencies--the NCIS, the Army CID, and the Air Force OSI.

And let's put Ric Grenell in charge of it.

PDJT said that Rosenstein recommended Wray. That’s all I need to know about Wray.

Wray is a fraud. I hope Trump fires him immediately after the election.

You are so right! That great 99% ought to have at least one whistleblower among them. So where are they? They’re whistling Dixie. They are way more bureau than they are investigation; their pensions and perks are everything to them. Sure don’t want to risk it by telling what they’ve seen and heard; oh no way.

Whistleblowing is legal and protected and honorable, right? Isn’t that what we’ve been told lately. Oh yeah, I forgot; only leftist whistleblowers are sacrosanct.

Here comes a ten year investigation, followed by an IG inquiry or until a demonrat is elected.

I guess Linda Graham, can’t subpoena anyone now, after all, he wouldn’t want to interfere in an FIB investigation. /s

If a study were to be conducted to determine the composition of the FBI regarding political affiliation of it’s agents and staff, I’m pretty confident that liberals would comprise over 80% of the agency. That’s by design of the democrats, who have turned the FBI and DOJ and intelligence agencies, into a reflection of the membership of the education systems throughout the U.S., where liberals dominate and rule.

So, no!, no fair investigation can be expected from the FBI or DOJ.

Good grief!
