Set up the church to enforce social distancing. Make sure there is not touching. Make masks a thing.
And then invite the media to compare the place to a restaraunt.
Then, hold your services.
Its called responsible civil disobedience.
Have communion every service. Make each attendee/recipient pay for the ‘food.’ One penny is the cost on the menu. Tips accepted.
The Catholic bishops and the Lutheran bishops met together with Governor Tim Walz a few days ago. Not much good came of it. However, the fact that the Catholics and Lutherans met together for the same cause has finally lit a fire in the church leaders, just in time for Pentecost Sunday. There is strength in numbers.
On May 26th, churches will be open with limits based on 33% capacity [not 10], so two empty pews between occupied pews. The decree in a letter to Catholics in Minnesota states it will begin on Tuesday so that by Pentecost Sunday, all the members of the churches will understand the rules and social spacing needed for continued caution against the Covid-19 virus.
Come Holy Spirit! Viva! Christ the King.
Wonder what’s magic about the number 10?
Cuomo’s using it, too, to limit attendees at church services.
They announced a 10-person limit in Delaware, too. Within days it was amended to “50% of capacity.”
So now I’m just wondering about the significance of the number 10. Why 10?
Likewise for Missouri Synod Lutherans.
Hopefully, that will open the doors for everyone else.
Okay, that’s three, it’s a plot.
The number 10 must have demonic significance.
How many are allowed in the mosques???
Islam calls their mosque a community center. Which is true they supposed to server as everything from a military base to a religious building.
Devil’s Advocate!!!
Retired school teacher with a basket weaving degree who avoided deploying to the tough assignment with his National Guard Unit. Way in over his head.
Bingo.
good,
Sure it all comes down to who pays the taxes, so it’s safe to say the governor is favoring that sector of society. However, the Constitution is very specific as regards the gathering of religious groups & I don’t think it has anything to say about restaurant goers. So, that makes the governing authority very hypocritical & any bad press they get is well deserved. A recall petition is called for, in my opinion.
But the people of Minnisota keep voting democrat!
I misspelled Minnesota!
