I’m healthy, late 50’s, on zero medication, however, I think it would be a tough battle for me, it could kill me, it’s killed far healthier. It is a worry ...

A recent study in the United States on NYC COVID-19 cases found that the most significant factors for hospitalization and critical illness due to COVID-19 are age and obesity:

“Factors associated with hospitalization and critical illness among 4,103 patients with COVID-19 disease in New York City”

From abstract:
Strongest hospitalization risks were:
1) age > 75 years (OR 66.8, 95% CI, 44.7-102.6)
2) age 65-74 (OR 10.9, 95% CI, 8.35-14.34)
3) BMI > 40 (OR 6.2, 95% CI, 4.2-9.3)
4) heart failure (OR 4.3 95% CI, 1.9-11.2)
