Duckworth is a dangerous mini-Marxist nutcase.
He is going to want to seem more moderate, and so I think he will pick Klobuchar . . . not that she actually is moderate. Neither is he. But, he will want to appear to move to the middle, eventually, and she helps him do that more than all the nutty leftists he could choose.
This so sickens me. Abuse is one of my areas of specialization.
What I can tell you is that a single incident like this can do profound damage to a child that, without proper intervention will last a lifetime.
The impact will be especially severe when the perp is someone trusted and in a position of power. The message that this helpless victim received was that this creeper is a very important and powerful man. So, even though what he did to her felt awful, *the grownups must be right*.
It’s impossible to explain how terrible it feels and how confusing it is. This is how memories sometimes become repressed. Yes, repressed memory syndrome is real. It may have been over diagnosed for several years, but it is a thing.
Without proper treatment, this child is doomed to toxic relationships and situations. She won’t trust herself or her own intuition and judgement.
Biden absolutely should have been arrested and charged with child molestation. Preferably in front of the child.
That’s the one thing that can help to ameliorate the trauma if it happens quickly enough. The victim needs to see the adults taking some type of aggressive action. Bring in the police, doctors, and other professionals. They must take this seriously. The adults have to make it clear that they 100% believe the child and will take concrete action.
Tragically, this little girl’s parents are probably imbeciles who never even blinked.
agree Klobuchar also threw him states by pulling out and endorsing, otherwise it would be Sanders-the election will come down to 4 or 5 midwest states so that is where Biden will focus
The only one he needs doesn’t exist...has to be someone who could win as the main choice and still not overshadow the Senile One...even Cuomo senses that to get in this race will kill any Dem’s career and they will be forced to drink gin and tea at afternoon get-togethers with Hillary...
My point is that whatever happened between that woman and Joe Biden is no longer a police matter. If it were not for political pressure they would not even file a report.
