Of course he’s still the darling of the media regardless. We could reach Bubonic Plague level fatality rates here and the media would still be pushing Coumo as the hero who stopped the virus and saved us all. But hopefully the voters wouldn’t be that stupid.
All that being said, he’s not running now. He has his hands full in New York, and it wouldn’t look good if he bailed out in the middle of a crisis, the virus epicenter on top of that, to start campaigning for President. 2024 is a different story though.

This would be a guy that has a grand total of 4 months to run. All with no platform, no practice, no money, and literally no base of support outside of NYC.

Joe stumbles through scripted interviews with friendly questions and whenever he goes off script delivers rambling disjointed statements that make little sense. Joe is also quick to show hostility if not anger when challenged. Remember his belligerence with the Iowa farmer or calling a person asking a pointed question a dog faced pony soldier? On a real campaign Joe would likely have a meltdown. The DNC will have to find another candidate and Cuomo would
be a logical choice.
