And there were a hell of a lot less Chinese female drivers to worry about.

I’ve been all over the country and have found that 1st generation Chinese female immigrants are unofficially the most dangerous clueless forces of destruction.

Oh, THOSE were the Archie Bunker Daze...

I had a 40 gal Econoline and could drive over to CanaDuh at lunch time to tank it up.

Then dangerously transfer gas out to two regular commuter econoboxes at home.

Good for you. That was total kr@p as there were apparently tankers anchored just offshore.

The U.S. oil industry is divided on whether it could or should contribute to production cuts in an effort to stabilize prices

Good luck with that.

All the waring tribes and factions must have just about topped off their fuel stockpiles for the next go-around scheduled at the winding down of the ChiCom pandemic.

Whoa!

SE Michigan, of all places.

I’m just about to kick myself in the butt for buying 2 45-50 mpg TDIs 15 years ago when gas went above $2 [and Diesel was cheaper per gallon than gas] ...

“...as fast as it has come down, it will go back up.... “

Likely faster.

Fortunately I still have my brace of TDIs....

YMMV, [Bronco Bama said I should go get a vehicle with double the FE. I said BB should go jump in the bay at Nantucket as there were no 90 mpg vehicles for sale.]

I'm just a bit older than you....

When I was a kid...it was a great place.

I surfed all up in down the coast from K-56 in Mexico to...Huntington Beach.

Took my family out of there in 98.....One of the best things I've ever done,..
