LOL! Hope the Dems don’t hire whoever wrote that!
He seems to have puzzled everyone on this. I read where someone said it was a line that an Indian said to John Wayne in some movie, and apparently Biden himself claimed that’s where it is from and has used it before, but I haven’t seen that verified. Nothing like coming up with some expression that is so obscure that only he knows about it, and one that sounds a little nutty to boot.
Maybe he is dusting off Don Rickles’ act.
This is starting to get good. must have moar popcorn.
The name a 1952 Tyrone Power movie.
Ruh roh...BiteMe has made TMZ...
Sounds like the onset of dementia. Sufferers will frequently say things from many years ago that are not appropriate. Pony solider sounds like something from an old spaghetti western
Tyrone Powers 1952.
Maybe Joe’s quoting the old guy on ‘Wagon Train’.. Sounds like something he’d say.
Can you imagine the fallout if President Trump said that??????
Still, a completely stupid thing for him to have said. All he had to say to make his point was ask her nicely "Oh really? Which one was that?" She would have mumbled something, exposed herself as lying, and he could have glossed right over it and used it as an opportunity to talk about the weird caucus process.
But he's Joe Biden, so he said something stupid instead, which he's been doing pretty regularly for the last 40+ years.
No matter what he meant, BiteMe should never have said it.
It was another incredibly stupid and needless mistake to make.
Keep digging, BiteMe.
I think I remember that one. Man, that is obscure. I wonder if the line “lying dog-faced pony soldier” came from that.
And note to the comPost: Nice try.
Its the Biden Dog and Pony Show.
I think Joe was frantic to call her some derogatory names without cussing, and those were what popped out. Is THAT all ya’ got, Joe? Hit me with yer best shot!
Possibly....
No worries. That’s just Joe being Joe! LOL.
Mighty fine presidential material there, mighty fine.
A dog face is the same thing as a doughboy. A pony soldier is what some plains Indians called their mounted warriors.
The “woman” didn’t seem upset about it. She was still smiling at him after he said that.
