There are two possibilities:

2.) Mitt Romney is too stupid to wield such power.
So Pierre voted for witnesses bec there was insufficient evidence, but then votes to impeach though there was insufficient evidence.
What happened to ‘innocent’ until proven ‘guilty’.
It wouldn’t surprise me a bit if Romney wasn’t in on the whole plot to take down Trump from day one.
I don’t agree. Romney envies Trump’s victory in the presidential race and that is the heart of it.
