The Senate could send a loud message by stating they will follow the Clinton procedures that were used and approved by both Democrats and Republicans during Clintons impeachment. Then they pass Hawleys rule change that gives the House 30 days to send over articles or the Republicans will proceed to dismiss.
The funny thing is last month Democrats were hollering what an imminent threat Trump was that he had to be removed immediately and there was no time to waste with impeaching him.
Now hes no longer an imminent threat - talk about political bait and switch. These people want to have it both ways.
Fortunately, Senate Republicans will have none of it.
How is this not considered terrorism or extortion ?
The Senate can just craft a sentence saying the impeachment never happened.
