This was a 737 Max 8. Many nations grounded them. Apparently not Ukraine. The stupid, it burns. ALL 737 MAX aircraft worldwide have been grounded since March 2019.
This was reported as a 737-800, which is part of the family known as NG or Next Generation, the series just before the MAX series.
