May Ted Cruz run for President 2024
Checkmate.
On Sunday morning TV the uniform Democrat talking point was that this escalates the war. They all contradicted each other, and themselves on this event except for the escalation.
If there is no escalation that is obvious then the Democrats have demonstrated that they do not understand the situation.
Remember how the Democrats accused Reagan of reckless bringing of nuclear war on us? Reagan stood tough. The USSR collapsed. It did not escalate.
I do not know if Iran will escalate or not. But if it doesn’t, the whole understanding of the situation by the Democrats is faulty.
If the escalation is cyberwar, a virus released on Starbucks Coffee and McDonalds then it will not be seen the same way as sending 100,000 troops to Iran.

All of the top candidates running for president have made a point of issuing statements against the mission, mostly because of the bad Orange Man. Elizabeth Warren even had to walk back her statement on Soleimani’s murderous record because the far left reacted badly to that. The left not only didn’t want him taken out, they want to re-write history to make him a decent human being. It’s ridiculous but, sadly, expected...

No way. He’s not attractive and wouldn’t win. He’s a good senator and knows the Constitution and should stay where he is.

No. I like Ted Cruz but he is not a natural born in the US . Ted was born in Canada from a Cuban father. Put Cruz on the supreme court where some day he can be in on the ruling that declares Obama was not a legitimate president.
I would like Cruz to actually declare this though. Or actually get a court to rule against him being able to run as president...so we can set a precedence on it.
Kamala Harris isn’t natural born either.
Unfortunately our founders were not clear on what they meant when they used the language they did. We really need to get more clarification written in the constitution so we can move on and not waste time on who is and isn’t qualified. I’m amazed that something so important could be so overlooked by our founders.
Amazing how easily they can ignore history. No issues when their guys do it. But when you have a guy that has admitted to killing American’s, is the head State Sponsored Terrorist, and was sneaking into Iraq to wreak havoc and kill folks, killing him is suddenly out of bounds.
Guess some USNs working in and with the Iraqi’s and diplomats have to be left to die, before the Dem’s care. Maybe.

I understand.
Disagreeing with this resolution does not make one less of a Patriot or less of an American. We should stop using such martial litmus tests for patriotism. Rand Paul is as patriotic as Cruz.
The resolution still is a clarifier as to who to vote for when it comes to foreign policy, even for entirely different reasons.
I say put it to the floor and let the voters see who agrees or disagrees with them.
You forget that Ted Cruz’s MOTHER is American.
