YEP, OLD RGB SAID TRUMP IS NOT A LAWYER SO HE WOULD NOT UNDERSTAND....GOT NEWS FOR THE DINGBAT. Do you have to be a lawyer or attend law school to be a Supreme Court Justice? The Constitution does not specify qualifications for Justices such as age, education, profession, or native-born citizenship. A Justice does not have to be a lawyer or a law school graduate, but all Justices have been trained in the law.
It is probably not within his power as he precedes over this sham hearing but it would be nice to see. Besides that milquetoast Roberts doesn't have the gonads to be bold.
President Trump could then go into reelection mode, secure reelection, regain control of the House, solidify the majority in the Senate, and then go into all-out vindictive mode and really flush the toilet that is Washington, D.C. Start with the Bidens - lots of people are curious how an unskilled, absolute loser like Hunter Biden could land all these sweetheart deals without someone pulling the strings. This could really open the Pandora's Box and show everyone the corruption of the Obama Administration and Hillary Clinton.
I know this won't happen but it makes me feel better to get that rant off my chest. If four and half years ago, you'd have told me that I would be strongly defending Donald Trump, I would have thought you were crazy.

Agreed...they have way too much to hide about Ukraine...especially Graham. If Trump brings up criminal charges related to Ukraine then they want a chance to keep it quiet.
The trouble with that plan is that a Grand Jury indicts, and a petit jury convicts (or acquits). The Senate is not authorized to impeach, only to convict or acquit.
One can make a strong case the USA would improve dramatically if less judges and politicians were lawyers. Lawyers are by nature a little elastic when it comes to “Truth” and they all know there is no Justice.

York may be a Bush guy but he also supports Trump. He's one of the good guys compared with what's out there.
