BTW, the US Government issued teenager Ted Cruz a US Passport. The US Government does NOT issue US Passports to non-US citizens… Ted Cruz’s mother was a US citizen when he was born, therefore he is considered a US citizen by default, and NOT required to be “naturalized”… Sen. Ted Cruz IS a US Citizen!
Both Trump and Cruz long ago buried the hatchet about the hard fought primary and have moved on to advance conservative causes. Trump even endorsed Sen. Cruz’s reelection!

Ted Cruz can serve the people of Texas as long as the people of Texas want him.
He is not a natural born citizen.
An honest press would be all over this story... Chuck Todd spent most of his interview time trying to talk over Cruz when Cruz was hitting the high points...
Conservative Senator Ted Cruz IS a US Citizen, issued a US Passport by the US Government (which does NOT issue passports to non-US citizens). His mother was a US citizen when he was born, making Ted Cruz a US citizen by default. Ted Cruz did NOT have to be “naturalized” to gain US citizenship. He therefore is a natural born citizen.
Natural born citizens are NATURALLY citizens because they are born here of citizen parents and it is not possible for them to be anything else.
Anyone born with more than one citizenship is not a natural born citizen, that is precisely the condition the founders were excluding.
Ted Cruz was still a Canadian citizen until 2014.
