I’m skeptical that John Durham would have opened a criminal inquiry if this is the extent of what Horowitz found.

The IG report coming out next month is expected to make no finding that COMEY, MCCABE or STRZOK acted on anti-Trump political bias in Russia probe,

What did we expect? Thanks to Rip Van Sessions the Deep State had years to destroy evidence and “forgot.’

The Barr and Durham investigation is where the rubber will meet the road. Horowitz is worthless, he has no power to indict anyone.

That’s moving the goal posts. Not good enough. Horowitz needs to be held accountable, too, for working bankers hous and airbrushing deep state crimes.

The real scam is that all real investigations are held up for years while the IG determines whether paperclip placement complied with FBI regulations.

We have to wait for Horowitz was always a red herring and excuse to do nothing/allow Deep State to destroy evidence. Do Democrats ever wait for an IG report before acting? Never in a million years.

Have more faith in Sarah Carter and John Solomon than any of the gov alphabets!!!!!! Much more.

Hope they are correct!!

Horowitz = 0
Wray = 0

Barr = ? to be determined by actions.
Durham + “ “ “ “ “ “

Pessimistic at this point? YES!

President Trump has accomplished more with all the ‘hullabaloo’ going against him that ANY president ever.

Voted for him, not really knowing what to expect but am in his camp now!

It sounds like a typical .gov document.

“Mistakes were made.”

“Something happened.”

“Minor errors.”

We have heard it all before...

Can you say “Swamp”. Yup, thought so.

Horowitz has no power to indict anyone-I’m pretty sure that is up to the DOJ-I don’t know that Horowitz and his band of merry men can even get people fired-he appears to just be a glorified rule enforcer in an out-of-control HR department...

The Resistance to POTUS is bipartisan in nature. Horowitz feels no pressure to hold the Deep State accountable with support on both his flanks. Until GOP voters hold the elected GOP accountable as an institution for its role in coup nothing will change. The GOP provided aid and comfort to the Deep State coupists and that makes them no less than co-conspirators. I speak of course of the public threats POTUS received not to fire Sessions, the blocking of the oustanding Ratcliffe from the DNI post, etc.

That was my thought as well. They have had 3 years to cover their tracks and a sympathetic IG.

The time to investigate the Deep State was in 2017 when they were still off balance from 2016. Unfortunately, Sleepy Sessions took a powder and defacto AG Rosenstein co-directed the coup for 2 years. We will never recover those years. Evidence destroyed, gaslighting narratives promoted, etc.

Let me tell you something on how these big institutional orgs work - this FBI agent that altered the FISA warrant was a low level FBI clerk lawyer - which means he was instructed to change the FISA warrant to make it look more legit - it was not done to correct spelling errors, etc. Who in the FBI ordered the lawyer to do this? This is now under Durham’s purview.

important info here i think....we are talking about the opening an investigation into a political campaign.....so perhaps they were within the law to do it.....but should they have done it?

Post:

Report concludes that the FBI had enough evidence to meet the legal standard to open the investigation, but Horowitz emphasized that the BAR WAS VERY LOW

When we look at it with hindsight, the fact that the IG would not declare the obvious bias between Strzok and Page,

The IG report showed bias all over the place, and included many examples. What it said was that it found no “direct” evidence of bias, which would for example be a document stating their intent to be biased.

Bias as defined by the courts can be demonstrated in actions, communication, statements, or pretty much anything that demonstrates an animus towards the target of an investigation.

The text messages were explicit. The meetings that were held to discuss the entrapment of the President and/or his aides is ample demonstration of bias. The investigation, much less the unprecedented wiretapping of a presidential campaign and/or candidate was never predicated on even reasonable suspicion. The deliberate leaking of stories to select allies in the media and the use of those news stories to corroborate the information in affidavits is an absolute fraud on the court.

This thing was broken from start to finish and the investigative attacks against Trump have been vicious and thorough. The investigation of Hillary’s numerous violations pertaining to classified communication and/or the law that requires retention of public documents was completely opposite and was handled with kid gloves and immunity handed out like candy. The investigation of the Pakistani IT folks retained by the DNC was the same. The hacking investigation of the DNC server was NOT even investigated by the FBI who took the report generated by a DNC contractor at face value. To this day, many believe Trump coordinated a hack (did not happen by metadata) with wikileaks and the Russians.

It is time for all of us to admit that we do have a two-tiered criminal justice system and that is a defacto admission that the deep state has won. They are untouchable if they can do the things they have done in the past 4 years. Untouchable. In fact, it is profitable.... play the game and even if you lose (unlikely - Hillary was that bad of a candidate) you still win a 7 figure talking head gig on the DNC media tour and/or you write best-selling books.

Actually, if you read the NYT article closely while they lead with this assertion, they refute their own lead in the body.

....”in some ways, he made no finding of politically biased actions”...

So, in other ways he did.

Watch this for five to six minutes. Horowitz explains serious abuses that go straight to the top, with commentary by Black Conservative Patriot. Do you think Horowitz is trying not to smile?

Sure. There was plenty of *implicit* evidence of bias. To the extent that a denial of bias is not reasonable. But the IGs comment about not finding *direct* evidence of bias, which would be like a directly stated agreement or instruction (preferably written) to come to an outcome contrary to the evidence. It is obvious they were railroading the investigation based upon clear inference, but the evidence didn't include an actual contract.

The IG gave a legal statement, which the media deliberately misconstrued and presented the statement as meaning something other than what it was.
